Power steering - just buy fluid, tip some straight into reservoir.bass_twitch wrote:Tell me about it...lawso wrote:fist time in fkn ages!bass_twitch wrote:aza013 wrote: I will set one up for the start of next month.![]()

But I need to do ALL fluids and I've never done brake, power steering etc fluids before - so would be useful to have helping hands/guidance.
I want to flush all fluids,Daniel2019 wrote: Power steering - just buy fluid, tip some straight into reservoir.
Flushing power steering only needs to be done if whats in there is crap. Just disconnect the bottom (pretty sure bottom) hose and turn your steering wheel left, right, left, right, etc etc. re-connect hose and fillbass_twitch wrote:I want to flush all fluids,Daniel2019 wrote: Power steering - just buy fluid, tip some straight into reservoir.
if power steering isn't one to flush, then all others.
I'm tired and cbf thinking,
Brake fluid hasn't been done since I got the car (2 years now?)
I need to learn how to do them.
lol, just be careful, that ps fluid is under extreme pressure, it will piss out everywhere.Daniel2019 wrote:Flushing power steering only needs to be done if whats in there is crap. Ahh rightsilverGPX wrote:No when your turning the wheel.
Put the hose end inside a 2L coke bottle and tape it around the opening.
Then you'd be enjoying the shower!Daniel2019 wrote:Not if you undo the top cap firstBennoz wrote:lol, just be careful, that ps fluid is under extreme pressure, it will piss out everywhere.(I would assume)
