Got a hold of the guy and he's sending me back a quote today so I'll post the price as soon as I get it. He said I need to buy at least 10 so I'll start a Group Buy thread later today when he gets back to me

This has been attempted before and fell on its arse because we didn't get the numbers. - Havea look in the group buy section and read the thread! - Prices I imagine would be the same.
UAS must be getting pretty sick of us..

You can make your own for about $100

Also while I was looking for mine, western filters said they could make me up a custom blue silicon one for less than $200... I think it was around the $160 mark..Taz wrote:You can make your own for about $100

Yea, there isn't much to it, just need the know-how to do it properly

Are we talking about a ugly PVC pipe here or a decent looking intake?Taz wrote:You can make your own for about $100

Re: ARC Chamber Vs UAS pipe Vs Weapon R?
depends on your definition of good looking intake, i wasnt aware looks came before performance these days, id have a shopping bag wrapped in gaffa tape if it gave me more power over a decent cf looking intake...
could get some nice stainless 3" pipes with some silicone reducers/joiners etc or go for a complete silicone pipe or whatever, the box itself is just a piece of material riveted together it looks like, and for 400 to replicate it, you could buy some carbon yourself and mould it to a proper intake yourself and still have money left over for decent insulation on your custon cf box..

Re: ARC Chamber Vs UAS pipe Vs Weapon R?
The thing is (as Bennoz mentioned) is that the intake pipe is a really good design with the way it starts thick and smoothly tapers down the TB size.
Sure you can get some aluminum piping etc but it will never be as good.
There should be other good intakes that fit, especially for whoever is willing to relocate the battery to the trunk.

It doesn't seem "optimum" in my opinion.

Remove your bonnet then or is that not optimum?
