Lowering your car will not have any effect on your speedo but your rim size can depending on the tyre size u get with em
the lower the profile the smaller your wheel circumference and thus the less your speedo will b out, on the flip side the lower the profile the harsher ride it will b

Yeah it was lowered before i bought it although looking at the pics when it had the 17" titans on u wouldnt have guessed.

hello, if i was to get 18", what tyres would i need for them?

I take it u mean if u want your speedo to b more accurate??
well if u r then the lower the profile the better, im not actaully sure what the radius of standard wheels with standard tyres is but i think its the pretty much the same as 17" wheels with 35 profile tyres (correct me if im wrong people) so u'd need to go even lower than that
basically the bigger your wheel is the lower your tyre radius needs to b in order for your speedo to stay "accurate" so if your increasin your wheel size by 2" then u need to decrease your tyre size by the same amount

Actually you'll find it's not that important to get the exact same rolling diameter. There is a amount you can go each way. Most wheel, tyre companies, RTA's, insurance compaines have a table that shows, given a certain tyre/wheel combo the rolling diameter. So then you can figure out given a bigger wheel what size tyre you'll need to be within the allowable difference. I'm not sure what that is though. GO and see your local tyre show for advice if you can, I'm sure they can tell you.
