Given that from what I can tell, the vehicle in question is a late model MR2 which is mid engined. Those vents are it's air intakes for what would be an intercooler, and in the case of a heavily modified 3s-gste actually warranted to provide air for the engine and intercooler. If it didn't have the roof scoop and the vents on the wheel arches then it actually makes a lot of sense.
yep im aware they are mid engined, they carry 1.8 litre turbo charged 4cyl, mate of mine has one, showed him that pic he pissed himself laughing
those side vents do make sence but they are so over kill why he didnt make them more flush with the body is beyond me they just look so stupid hanging out there like that
there is rice and then there is over cooked rice
i think thats over cooked and i do agree with u on the fact that the guard vents and roof scoop make no sence at all

Saw a hektik VN station wagon this morning whilst walking to the train. Lime green with a painted black bonnet (to represent the carbon fiber), and a set of three gauges poking out of the bonnet, obviously required on a car driven by a red P plater...
