Re: Gearbox Additive
Do not use Syntran, they clearly state not suitable for hypoid gears.

Re: Gearbox Additive
I don't have an LSD. I still think my problem is to do with my clutch.

Re: Gearbox Additive
i reckon the oil that weve used is too hardcore and killing the synchros.
well see how the box oil goes, and well give it a bleed anyway on the weekend or tuesday or whatever.
ill have a look to see if its pushing the master cylinder enough too.

Re: Gearbox Additive
I think Syntrax is not right for limo diff.It work well when i fit s/h box (it shifted power gradually from 1 wheel to the other on drivingBennoz wrote:Syntrax will be fine, just keep in mind, its no good for LSD. Mine became exceedingly lound & clunky with the Syntrax.
After 3000 klm it now tends to drive one side more than the other under power. I think this is the oil .But no change in noise level.

Re: Gearbox Additive
Does anyone have any idea what storm just said
By the way when referring to not suitable for LSD, this is clutch type LSD, should be fine for a torsen type LSD.
