I personally know a cop friend of the family and he said if they are having a bad day they will book some one but if they are having a good day they will let em go ... all depends on their mood which is bullshit... cause the law is the law it shouldnt vary depending on their mood... thats just 1 reason why most cops suck...

heheh I was eyeing one of those decibel measuring thingies on ebay a while back. Nope never been measured by the police etc for two main reasons;

1) I dont go to places known to target modified cars
2) I know how to be inconspicuous when needed.

But in saying that, whenever I dont drive my car for a while, I always ask myself how the heck I go unnoticed with such a loud pipe.

I do have scare wees when I have a cop behind me though. Shift up just below 2000rpm

EDIT: My honda at 9000 rpm was 112dB. I wonder how much it was at 16000 rpm .

BTW renzuken, what exhaust system are you running to have gotten 100dB? I assume stock headers, some 2.5 in piping with one resonator and no muffler into quad tips?
