anyways, about a setup for your intake, if I didn't have the uas stuff, i would buy either k&n or simota (i think they are both good) then make my own pipe, airbox, then 2 ram pipes. all piping in 3" to match the throttle body.

yeah my simota carbon box cost about $250 in a kit... but i had to buy it in a kit for a focus and just utilize what i could.
interesting how many people dont like them because theyre made in thailand...
i havnt had any problems with mine... lovving it acctually
K&N is a bit like wearing Nike's... good, but very common

just to add to this simota kit. the filter element is actually steel mesh. not paper, not foam.
filtration: questionable, i dont think its as good as K&N with paper or foam media.
Flow: fan bloody tastic!

u want a fkn picture??? your right... its not paper but its not foam.... its quite unique
some sort of synthetic
ive had peeps say the actual filter separates from the case but no evidence, mine seems to be working great...
