Re: Rear Bar Design
Yeah, I probably should do it myself. I have learnt to do it in the past. Time is my biggest enemy though. Im REALLY short on it. I must admit, its enough of an effort just to organise the group buy, let alone make the bars as well. the other thing is that if there is a problem, I can just get someone else to fix it. Thanks for the link though. That actually might be handy when im building the original (got quoted 4K for them to make, so that will get me off my backside to do it myself).

you could always invest and get a vacume bag kit and do it that way
is a lot easyer and quicker then lay up every time then you could mass produce them easyly
yea gess its less issues getting some one else do

Re: Rear Bar Design
Last warning.... keep it on topic
CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Re: Rear Bar Design
Thats my plan Im even going to try and give you buggers enough time to get one before as well if everything works out......
Have another decision to make. Can I get opinions on whether I do the lip like on the bar in the UK or do I just smooth it out a little instead (like in the photoshopped pics I posted of my car). Im referring to the line that runs around the stock bar about 10-15 cm from the bottom of the bar. I can either runa bit of filler around it to make it a smoother transition (like the one below):
or, I can accent it further like the bar in the UK (below):
