Still don't know what to do. I saw a Sony one the other day and the screen was amazing, very sharp but I didn't have enough time to check it out so will go back and have a play with that one.

Ok, the search is over. i picked up a Samsung galaxy S yesterday. I've had it for 24 hours now and so far it's been quite good. The only issue I'm having is it won't find my wireless next work at home, grrr. any ideas? i have a Billion BiPAC 7300(G) (802.11g) which the manual with the phone says it will be ok for.

the Galaxy S has 4" screen, 5mp camera, radio, Android 2.1, BlueTooth 3.0, wifi, GPS etc so it really ticks all of my boxes and got great reviews on cnet.com.au

So far so good. The internet is great on it, FTO forum looks great and loads in seconds. Great for looking at Ben's NSFW posts at work lol.

yeah and they have come up with a solution to the aerial problems too. But like all apple solutions you dont get it standard like all other phone brands, you have to download it as an app.

Also glad they have finally brought out the iphone 4 becuase the 3g iphone was SOOO 2008

Back on topic... yeah but I can't work out how to do it properly. The phone can see other wireless networks in the unit block but not mine. The PS3 pics it up ok. Grrr.

Have been looking for a new phone for all this year... finally decided on an iphone 4. Im basically communicating via smoke signals right at the moment, so im thinking its going to blow my mind ;)

I think the new one looks more professional and less like a toy. Plus the sh*tty camera and lack of video ability (along with some other things) kept me from a 3GS. One of he nokia touch phones was a close 2nd for me

I think I know what's going on, my routers WLAN is not working properly. I've done a full reset but still no joy. I've raised a ticket with Billion but who knows how long that will take. Any ideas?

no because it can't even see my network to begin with. Last night I managed to get the WLAN light on the router to stay on and once or twice the phone picked it up but by the time I entered the WEP key, the phone was saying that it was out of range. it is still seeing other networks within the building though.

Got an iPhone 4 here, great phone. You will only run into reception issues with a crappy carrier (ie: virgin)
