a) a cop infultrates a group
b) the cop starts liking the group
c) the cop tries to arrest his mate
d) he lets him go (e.g. vin diesel in his car and patrick goes out to surf at bells in waves that apparently kill him)....
Right on, it's sick how many old plots are being rehashed with whatever is in fashion atm to make a "blockbuster"
Haven't seen it yet, but from reviews/previews etc, that bloody
12 Bullets or whatever it's called is just a rehash of Speed
Back to the original movie topic, and tokyo drift, the reasons I really liked them was that there was a far bigger emphasis on the cars. As it should be!

My expectations for this movie aren't very high now.

True .. I just flicked through the version I downloaded .. skipping 5 - 10 mins each time or so & there is a distinct lack of cars.. most of it is just talking scenes :S

i just watched all 4 of them again (got bored and im on holidays

) and i actually like tokyo drift a lot more now.. it does have a sh*t load more driving but i still
enjoy the first one the most out of all of them... but when i watched the 4th one TD made a lot more sense so i can see where its going..
although what plot do you guys think it will continue at?
like in tokyo drift you got torrito about to race at the end.
and in the 4th one (wont ruin it for people who havnt watched it) which one you think they will continue it from?

I hear that once you watch this new fast and furious, Tokyo drift makes much more sense, is that true? I'm unable to picture how they are linked.

Can't believe I went & saw the 11am session on the Thursday for a movie that turned out like that.
#1 & Tokyo Drift were the best ones.

Nope, not true at all - If anything, it ruins the 4th movie cos it's meant to be, lets just say, not set in 2009 but before that. YET it has the new impreza and a R35

I was trying not to mention that, but that is one thing that pissed me right off!
I think the 5th one will involve a certain bus break, then getting away from the authorities by having to race all the way up the West Coast to Canada or something, then a mad dash (probably on a boat loaded with cars) to Japan with the FBI stuck at the border waving goodbye. I am hoping they kill off Brian Earl Spilner (

) cos he seriously pisses me off!!! Oh, and he wasn't seen in Tokyo Drift...
IMO, if they don't do it like that it will be sh*t. The only way to redeem themselves IMO is by having the 5th one with massive long distance car chases (Cannon Ball styles) and hiding out in various cities street racer communities. BACK TO THE CARS YOU f**kers!!!

OR!!!
Have them cross the country to the East Coast, then high tail it to Britain, then Paris, then pick up cars for a kick arse Cannon Ball all the way to China/Japan
That would make it fun, kill off Brian and Mia somewhere Hostel styles. Merge some movie genres

OK, that last part is a bit far fetched...
Brian and Mia can f**k off to Mongolia to get married for all I care, but Dom should go it alone in a cannon ball ride through europe and asia

its kinda weird how they released it though, they should have held on to tokyo drift and made the 4th one the third and tokyo drift like the 5th, like that would make a shiltoad more sense wouldnt it? lol

Anyway, me personally, I don't like Vin Diesel. Everytime he's in a movie (apart from Riddick) the movie is full of sh*t out of this world unrealistic crap. Like driving under a flipping trailer and missing it by a MM. And they make it look like he knows that's what's going to happen.
Also, crap like driving alongside somebody, pulling their door open and then leaping out of your car (going like 100kms/h at least) into their car, kicking the driver out and start driving.
Yea, the 5th one, I hope it's about them outrunning the law, participating in plenty of illegal street races. Whatever happens, as long as there's a shietload of cars and a lot of racing, I don't care
