mines at 88, 000. She was imported 1 yr almost exactly ago and she had 67,000 then. Shes a 99 model. is 20,000 a lot to put on a car in a year? n that just general driving, shes only one on two longer trips before only 3 hrs away both times. Apparently the timing belt needs to be changed at 90,000, can anyone confirm that?
I'd do a full service every 100,000kms as good measure. Thats all belts, pulleys, water pump, gaskets, idrium spark plugs, and a good routine check through everything in the car.

hmmm thanks heaps! its my cars first service so im a little bit unsure as to where to get it done at, its a little different to my little exa i had before lol
For the 100,000 service I went to a Mitsi garage, I do all the smaller ones myself, but for the large one I wanted piece of mind and get the pros to do it so if anything went wrong I had something to go back on.
I know a lot of lads do the belts themselves and its not that hard, but the slightest bit out can make a major and expensive difference!
Yeah im thinking about getting the pro's to do, i just learnt how to do my first small service, lol i loved it, luckily my sisters husband is really cluey and knows a lot about cars, so he taught me. Thanks for the info... i'll let you know how it goes!
