Lol well I can save the money and put it towards a car at the end of the year. Also I've been stimulating the economy lots over the past few years, buying all sorts of stuff I don't even need

And yea, JD-3193, if you can't even service it, I doubt you care at all :P I don't mind a couple of scratches on the car, mechanically sound car is #1 priority!

I think too many people on here read too much & lock what they read away as gospel. I'd be lucky if my car gets serviced every 5,000 kays. Usually its every 10 - 15. my mums 94 Camry years ago went for 65,000 kays without a service! Its still purrs like a kitten to this day.

you shouldn't wash your car that often ... washing it once & polishing & waxing it is better for it than constant washing ..

after it is polished & waxed it should just take a dusting with a microfibre cloth or something even less harsh to get it back to a good level of shine ..

Each time you wash you are rubbing dirt particles into the car which is abrasive to the paint..

Also, with constant washing you are removing the previous layers of wax (if you have ever done this) which are protecting the car from the elements .. the idea is that the wax gives a protective layer that also protects from microparticles of dust that smack into your car while driving as well.

Unfortunately, that's not exactly true.

You basically have to have paid more tax last year then what was given back to you in your tax return. It is NOT just a case of filing a tax return.

Therefore everyone who had a casual job and earned less then 10 grand last financial year will most likely not receive a cent.

Since I only had a casual job last year and earned around 10 grand, I won't be eligible. I paid $550 tax and received all of it back on my tax return.

f**king disappointing.
are you sure that's true? because doesn't being a student and the like mean you get more tax back? so just because you study and therefore get all your tax back you won't get the money compared to someone who you worked just as much as but they pissed around not studying, didn't get all their tax back, and will get the money
seems a bit stupid if that's the case
Students receive a different benefit from this scheme.
