OMG at all the huge avatars. Perhaps stop letting people link to off-site images and require them to be uploaded. At least then you'll be able to control the dimensions and size of them. Some of them are pretty extreme

Edit: Beaten to the punch by a supp edit >_>

Yes, they're external hosted images... still even with the resizing that was taking place before ... you still had to *load* the big image for the browser to resize it down... so it slows loading but at least they didn't push content all over the place.

Was one of those little modifications that aren't included in the default package as far as I'm aware at least... Ben'll probably fix it... or is already on it. I still think externals are generally a bad idea. There's nothing like an external image timing out on load causing the whole page to struggle to load... those custom .gif sigs with the crazy random text are infamous for that :? Damn browser waits for the image to time out before rendering the page fully.

Yep, the resise feature is working, but its only working on new avatars linked... which I've now disabled.

SO PEOPLE WHO'S AVATARS THAT ARE NOT WORKING - PLEASE RESIZE YOUR AVATAR TO THE FORUM STANDARD OF 140 X 100 AND UPLOAD IT TO THIS SITE.

Cheers :)

Yeah I had to repair a few files

Another update, I've just repaired & upgraded the MS Analysis module (which you guys dont see) but its the module that tracks the site hits & all that sort of thing. It was busted during the last hack attack & only the annual stats were working :)

Just about to set a new theme as default too!

Thanks mate :)

New theme is now down 'SVision' - if you do not like it, you can change it by hitting the 'Account' button on the top left of screen & going into themes. The old theme is callled 'Kaput'. You'll also note there are a bunch of new themes in there you can choose from.

Now all I need is someone to redo our logo so it will blend into the new theme....

Yeah, thats cause you had selected 'Kaput' in your profile (now fixed). If a user doesnt have a selection, it just goes with default :)

It needs a few tweaks - like the logo for example & reducing the size of the circles a litle bit, but yeah, any comments / improvement requests welcome.

The sticker logo = 404 Error - Not Found
(http://www.ftoaustralia.com/downloads/S ... _final.zip)

:?

Let me know when it's available :)

PS. this theme REALLY needs post links to be any colour but black, they blend into content text horribly. >_>

I don't mind the navigation links being black so much... (not great but meh) ... however in peoples posts it's currently impossible to find links without mousing over them.

Just opened the pamplet instead... gogo adobe trials. :P

You after something like this?:

Image

Had a thought re: the top right image. I presume it's possible for a quick image rotation (php script in the template)?

You could put up a tonne of random member car images. To save my sanity and to benefit the club you could add some rules for said images:

1.) Must be a members car at time of upload at least.
2.) Member must donate minimum of $5-10 to the club (for hosting costs etc.).
3.) Member must provide 5 images, which someone (you?) then chooses the best one for use.

Dunno... was just an idea. Feel free to disagree or throw stuff at me (: (disclaimer: As long as it's (good) alcohol).
