how hard did you push the speedo in? You don't mean to push it all the way in.

didnt use to much force.
once you take a needle out you know where it should go back in.
you should be able to fit your teaspoons underneath it once you have put it back in:P

Well then, good luck with recalibration, last time someone got a pro to recalibrate, it cost him $300+.
You can always get a Apexi RSM as a headup display, it give you RPM and Speedo, plus it delimit your ride, around $80-$150 second hand.

LOL his not a mate, if he is, i would of just told him to get the one that doesn't need to remove the needles.
I have to say lots of parts and service for FTO now are a lot cheaper, the only thing that still stay the same are the insurance price.

looks like they came up fine - dispite taking the needles out which really does suck. I still think EL is the way to go.
All the GB people will be happy when they eventually get theirs.

they are black against the blue. you see them easily.
you can also light them up by putting in the std globes but it looks crap, all EL dials are the same.
Anyway you will find out soon...you have bought some!

yeah I have a new cluster setup since then...same dials at this stage. I have been playing with ways to get a super bright needle using various tricks...just havnt put the new cluster in.
ohh I have a CF clustre beazel now also...looks pretty cool.
