Changed over all my brakes, now have slotted and dimpled rotors front and rear with EBC reds on the back (fronts to come soon)
Engine up on the hoist now, clutch and flywheel in, gearbox on (missing some bolts)
Ready to go in, will be in on Thursday hopefully.

Have narrowed non-starting issue to lack of fuel, although we are not sure if it is because of wiring or rooted immobilizer. Fuel pump has been replaced (both ones in the car worked).
Immobilizer has some very dodgy wiring and some cut wires so that's my first thought, but some of the ECU wiring is also a bit confusing.
Getting there..

Bennoz do u know what colour wire goes from the loom to the fuel pump?
There's a dodgy snipped black/blue wire hooked up to the immobilizer at the drivers side loom bundle...
This alarm/immobilser seriously has the dodgiest wiring I've ever seen in my life

Wait, this car did work before the engine rebuild yes? You've only played with engine wiring yes?

As far as I know, yes. It had a seized engine then Dwayne bought it then I bought it from him.

So why are we playing with wiring that was known to work? Not playing Devils Advocate here, just using troubleshooting 101 - the process of elimination.

Yep, bought it off a guy in Sydney. Had sold parts to him a few weeks before the engine blew, so as far as I know, wiring was fine.

There are snipped wires and sh*tty connections all through that wiring and it will be a problem in the future anyway. I'm trying to rule out the immobilizer and the interior wiring.
We know it's not getting fuel. I know the pump works, I know the lines are connected up, but no fuel is getting from the tank/pump and through to the fuel lines. Fuel filter is new too.
Only things I'm thinking it could be would be immobilizer system or interior wiring. Obviously an immobilizer can cut a fuel supply if not working properly.

Have you checked for power at the fuel pump with a multimeter?

Depending on the immobilizer type, it can immobilize up to 4 circuits. Most of them these days only do 2 though, and most people use the ignition & fuel circuits.
Locate the immobilizer, it's probably up under the drivers foot well, and have a look at the loom coming out of it. Generally speaking, the main immobilized circuits are larger gauge wire than all the others (they may also be labelled if installed by a rookie.) They will be in pairs - all you have to do to neutralize (aka reconnect) the circuit, is to cut & join the wires on each pair. Better yet, trace the immobilizer circuits to the factory loom, find where they cut the factory wire, cut immobilizer wires off, rejoin factory wire.

It's some chinese brand called "HUGE SUN-1" (I sh*t you not

)
We found the immobilizer and all the wiring yesterday. Wiring is f**king sh*t. All black wires (I know they're supposed to be) and done insanely dodgily, its just a massive mess down there.
Bennoz wrote:find where they cut the factory wire, cut immobilizer wires off, rejoin factory wire.
Do you happen to remember what color those factory wires would be? There is sh*t joined into sh*t joined into sh*t coming off a join which is joined to some sh*t.
They've made an absolute mess of this and I'm half tempted just to rip it all out. Although trying to avoid the

route this time.
Edit: Also there doesn't seem to be any thicker wires/pairs coming directly from the unit. Although there is some colored ones, half of which have been snipped as mentioned.

Come down to Sydney and help
Basically it looks as though this system has been installed by someone of a similar skill level to myself.
I'm sure you can imagine the end result
