Taking into account the cams license, entrance, and from what I hear you need to be paying member of a car club?
Any other costs (not including your car, petrol etc)

You'd go through a few brake pads and tires too

Depends what you want to do?
If you want to do actual racing, like what I do, it varies dramatically from category to category and event to event.
For example I race in Prod Sports, which is really a state level championship. I mainly compete in the endurance championship though, which is 4 events over the year, 1 at Bathurst, 1 at EC, 1 in Qld & the last at PI in Vic. The entry fees for EC are around $300-$400 vs around $2K for Bathurst.

Not to race. The ring is a public road basically a toll road. You pay 20-30 euros just to drive around it.

Oh and if you crash, you pay to fix any damage you did to the track

What would the cost be to just be able to put your car on the track including any license or other fees but excluding the vehicle costs?
For example Wakefield Park.

Wakefield Park (speed off the street day) for your first time there will cost you $170, that is your license for a year an the day on the track.

Yep, a basic WP track day is $120 plus your WP track licence which is $50 per annum.

You don't need a CAMS licence for basic track days at WP.

Again it comes back to the question what do you want to do?

There are different CAMS licences depending on what you want to do.

Basically I want to enjoy the car on a track. Not trying to break records, not trying to beat a specific car, just want to have fun without worrying about kangaroos jumping out, or cops pulling me over etc etc.

Yep, that's your best option. From their you're stepping up into more competition oriented events such as Super Sprints, Regularity, and then full on racing.

I have one final question. I was under the impression you needed a track license so that you know the normal "etiquette". If anyone can just rock up and start driving on the track, would there not be constant accidents?

Seeing as though this is the suspension thread, what is the stock spring rate for a gpx? (I'm assuming it'd be the same for all models, but thought I'd specify anyway)
