well according to offset calculator you'll have 3mm more inner clearance than the wheels i had on my FTO so shouldn't be an issue. main problems i see are the plastic splash guard when turning and fenders.
but that just means removing plastics and rolling guards. easy as!

Sorry to see your FTO smashed up a bit
Nice rims!
Just photoshop the damage out of your FTO

Nah, I can just look at silver facelifts now.
And good to know Andy! cheers. Yeah, rolling all guards and probably taking the liner out. Or let the tyres do it for me, haha.

More like making the best of a bad situation. I'm already paying $1100, I may as well pay a little more to get something different.

Now I just have to wait to hear back from Just Cars as to which place will repair the car. Wondering if I could even get dstocks facelift factory Ts now, as the one guy at Artini Crash said I probably wouldn't have to pay anything out given how expensive a new bar would be. We will see.

I know my insurance covers you for the last known retail selling price, so that would be quite high here...

Tell you what though, I was little worried.

One part of my brain is like "You know people have run similar without issue" and the other is saying "Ahhhh they're not going to fit and they're going to hit suspension or other bit and pieces".
But it's getting close! Should clear out all my guard liner from the fronts before I get the guards rolled, which should happen before the tyres do.
Also need to call the repair shop again and see if they got my email, and what's happening and when.

If you are likely to possibly want the Ts Factory bar, you probably should get a freight quote to have an idea of total cost. Can provide a phone number for you to call if you like. Send me a PM if interested.

Bjk, speaking of getting things freighted over, I need a new boot lid haha, Dwayne I'll PM you about that one.

Don't know if it would be possible but might be worth combining items and splitting the cost? If not I do know of one nearby I can pick up.

Depends on whether I can do this, and how the shop wants to go about it. Whether they buy direct from the fibreglass shop, or I have to do that legwork and they pay me back.

Of course, I'll check out this wrecked one at Gepps Cross anyway, depending on how expensive everything is I might source rear bar and right taillight from it as well..
All good man, nice wheels btw, coming along well.

Thanks. Now I've just moved my agonising questions onto the next problem of picking a tyre.

She's going to the wreckers to look at a car.
Although I knew I should've been a bit more obvious with that association.
