Its all good. Looks like I've soruced a second handunit for $200. By the way if you spot any of them cheap, let me know. They are a TD03. I figure if Im gonna be running 18 pound thru 'em all day, I might wanna stock up on spares.

She leaking from inside the turbo through a bush into the rear of the housing / exhaust.

Have you considered finding a garrett after market equivalent to your twins? I remember your haltech dealer telling me he's also a garrett aust dealer so look into it maybe???

I thought your turbo's got highflowed, wouldn't the bushes have been replaced when they did this or am I way off, lol?

There are no direct replacements for the stock turbos & I dont fancy having to pull manifolds off again & modify them.

Anyways I picked up a set of 2 for $330 :)

And nah, never got round to high flowing them. But now that I have 2 spares, I may just do that!

Sort of

We replaced the front turbo & it fixed that smoke blowing issue.

Now its over heating... :x

I've given up on getting the sh*ts, now I just have a little, wacked out, cross-eyed, insane, Homer-Simpson-esque "Here's Johnny!" chuckle & get on with sourcing whatever parts are needed for the next busted item

Yeah there's no point getting pissed off....it doesnt fix the problem.

Did you replace the thermostat on the engine?

Hm try heat shielding them turbos with that metal stuff. Is there a low temp thermostat you can use so it opens at lower temp's? Replace the radiator cap with one that holds a higher pressure. Heat wrap all your lines too. You changed the water pump didnt you when you changed the timing belt yeah? Overheating must be from the turbos themselves running at 18psi or radiator related. Dont give up now, your so close!!

damn man yor having the same over heating problem as me.
does yours only overheat while it is stationary mate or does it also do it while your driving around?
you might need to flush the motor and radiator also bigger thermo fans might need to be installed i am going to a 12inch and a 10 inch.

Nup, nup, nup.

Somethings either blown or blocked up. Last time we had it on the dyno (some 4 months ago) it ran fine. No over heating, fans kicked in at the right time, no issue at all.
