My Son has recently bought a Maloo Z R8 so this has spurred me on.
I'm almost there now - maybe starting her up tomorrow/sunday with the charger on.
I've still been using the car by the way, just keep removing the plenum to test fit bits and measure up etc then put it all back.

Here's a few more pics:

Jobs left to do:
Finish bypass valve to intake piping (small job just ran out of 90 degree elbows)
Cut hole in supercharger outlet plate and braze round flange on, fit silicone pipe
Fit larger 275cc injectors (shouldn't be too bad but the old injectors can be a pain to wiggle out)
Fit 3 bar map sensor (quick job)
Run small vac pipes to map sensors and fuel pressure regulator (quick job)
Bolt throttle body on and hope the throttle cable is long enough
Fit pulleys and belt

Ok so maybe I won't get it all finished tomorrow but I will have a good try

So close but looks like I will be starting her up tomorrow not tonight:

I've pretty much just got to bolt the throttle body on, put the belt on and some vac pipes and then turn it over and see what happens.
There are some bits that i'm not happy with but it's a work in progress.

I'm going to do something as it looks shite, i'm thinking a cover may be easier.

Nice! Yeah it took me 12 months to finally tidy & be happy with all the bits & pieces on my engine conversion.

A little bit of grinding, a little bit of polishing, I reckon that manifold would come up a treat.

Wel I started it up and revs were very low (not worried about that at the moment though) but I only left it running for seconds as I was purposely watching the belt and yes it started to walk off so there's an alignment issue somewhere. I didn't expect it to be spot on first time so not too bothered, some investigation to be had tonight if I get a chance.

Also i'm going to have to extend the throttle cable a little - anyone know what/where in terms of linkages?

Thanks Ben, the link worked but not the one from google maps. I've managed to get some cable and tonight I will be making a connector to join the two (out of Ally).

I've made adjustments to the supercharger brackets so hopefully this will fix my alignment issues, I needed to use the car though so removed it all and put it back to normal so don't know yet!

But one of the bigger issues that I found is that the throttle body will almost face the underside of the bonnet.

check out the angle on the black flange on the right of the pic!
I did think about cutting a hole in the bonnet and adding a naca duct but for one i'm not sure if i'm allowed to chop the bonnet and also I would still need to get an air filter somewhere between the duct and throttle body and i'm not sure there would be room.

What i've decided instead is to make an adapter between the current intake to the supercharger and the throttle body so that I can change the angle.
Progress so far is that i've cut up my spare FTO plenum and the throttle body will be bolted to this, and i've made a flange matching the charger intake end and I will be ally brazing an angled pipe between the two.

Currently it's only held together by my hand (well it was then) so of course I need to do something to hold it together that's a bit more substantial and also more practical so I will be ally welding it all tonight with any luck, but first I have to test fit everything again so that I get the angle right.
Nothing is ever spot on first time with these projects but it's fun coming up with solutions (well sort of fun).
