Thanks jono, the only problem with buying online, is i dont get to test it to make sure it is the right one.

But i got one today and got the oil feed line made up

Also some of the intake silicone pipes arrived

Now again another small issue trying to work out how to extend the fuel line from the hard line to the bottom of the fuel filter. Any ideas

can you not buy fuel line hose?

any lines in the engine bay... make sure they're braided dude...

The problem is not the hose..... the problem is finding a connection that will connect to my original fuel line (the one that goes into the bottom of the fuel filter) and then a connection that will fit into the bottom of the fuel filter.

for the fuel pipes, get another pair of fuel hoses cut one end of each and put a joiner in the middle, that way youve just double the length of both. Thats what I originally did. I didnt have to move the filter though...but if you do move it to the opposite side and turn the fuel rails round.

braied is good, its how and what connections they use which makes the big difference under pressure however its usually ok regardless..

Alright got a little more organised today and tonight.

Got fuel line from filter to rail finished today.

Pirtek just cut the ends off my old line and put them on a braided line about double the length.

Now I came across a little problem. The fuel rail adapter i brought from RPW doesnt line up with the holes on the rail

Now i brought it so long ago....... say good bye to refund. So i was looking at the old FPR and thought i could just grind of the FPR and use the backing plate.... and it worked a treat

. Now i just got to weld a pipe to it and it will be good to go.

The black dots represent where the holes needed to be.

Here's what i did to the factory FPR.

Fuel filter in place

Now started to put silicone pipes in place to see where the intake piping is going to go.

Looks like im NOT going to have to get a slim line fan either

Sump is back on and all lines are now in place. Had to get a little creative with the fuel line to the fuel filter but came up with a solution that worked extremely well.

Need to get a gasket for the oil dump pipe and some intercooler piping then should be off for the final tune

This is coming along real sweetly...top work mate. You may just convince me to swap a gr motor in and do the exact same....

ok after reading this post I am going to turbo the car

whent out and got the turbo today and will put it in tomorrow

pics for you all
they tell me that I can add dubble the kws to the car with this setup

now back on topic

its coming along well Simon soon you will be hitting the tuners and away you go in a big clowed of rubber smok

Got some mandrel bends and some piping today should hopefully have piping worked out and finished by the weekend

wait till i take you for a spin in it, then make it your mind, hell it may not be worth it. But in saying that i have had so much fun doing this its been great. Really brought back my youth

I seem to remember running only 4 psi and having a 5k redline and taking you for a spin...

5 minutes later all you could say was "F**K!!! I'm so turbo'ing mine!!!"

Then there was on the way back down mount ommany....

You sat there and just swore for the whole straight...

When i took you missus she didnt say anything... (Guess its easy to see who wears the pants eh? lol)

Well has been a very interesting week or 2. The intercooler piping has taken a few more days than expected and i have had to modify it several times to get right. Its not exactly hard just time consuming and fiddly. I can see why this would cost so much if it was done in a work shop. In saying that i have made all my own flanges instead of buying off the shelf.
