Apart from stating the obvious (you're an idiot) I can tell you what you will need.
- Take 3 character references to court (from people that have know you a long time.)
- Mid range will ALWAYS carry 6 months off the road (trust me on that

) Occasionally you can negotiate on the fine depending on whether it will impact your ability to work and live, but it is illegal for the judge to not hand over the 6 months disqualification unless there are extreme extenuating circumstances (See mention of section 10 above.)
- Dont Bullsh*t the judge and dont waste his or her time. Do you know how many people they process for this type of thing & how many people rubbish on for hours trying to get away with it?.... thousands, and they all get the same answer - too bad, 6 months, $1000 bucks.
I went in with the same sort of reading years ago. I didnt bother with a solictor, it was just more money for some else to go in & say sorry. Just bite your tongue, apologise & you'll be out in 5 minutes.

mate call lawaccess nsw and they can provide you with legal help.
even if you need your car for work you need to demonstrate that :
a) your income supports your family
b) ther is no other way for you to get to work
plead guilty and cop it this time, but since no one here has estated thay they are lawyers call the people that can give you info and or legal advise

i just asked the service of the solicitor..770 bucks... told me that i could take the 8 weeks drink driving course or education thing..he said the judge could consider reducing my licence cancellation for 3 months.. i MIGHT escape the fine??? or the judge can say that i can have my licence back coz i need it for work and given my circumstances ...the lawyer said it could be all or nothing..he also told me to bring 3 character references...now i'm wandering if getting the service of a lawyer is worthwhile..i'm gonna plead guilty anyway. Like Bennoz said just say sorry...done..pay the fine...learn from it...costly mistake!

get a solicitor trust me they are worth it. I know your guilty but solicitors usually help a lot.
I know a lot of solicitors and trust me they may look expensive but get one anyway!
