mate! it looks like a stock ECU that has had a mines chip installed.....
all i know is that the guy who we bought the car off didnt even know it was there so i didnt get ripped....and considering i paid 6 grand for it i think it would still be worth it!
anyway the ecu has a plaque on it saying MINES: work garuanteed or some sh*t so yeah, SOMETHING is done to it......i need to dyno it asap to see what the thing does!..lol im just too bloody curious!
cheers!

yes, spetz does. its a plug'n'play replacement unit for the stock ecu, from memory. Quite a few made for various jap cars.

Just keep in mind, the Mine VX Rom are tune for 100ron+ fuel. They basically like Powerchip, an add on or replacement (depends on the model of the car) for the ECU chipset.
So technically, its a Mine tuned OEM ECU, as everything else is OEM.

Hey,
I have the exact same problem with my GPX, I've had it for over a year now, so I have floored it plenty of times after driving more than 10 minutes or half an hour & it doesn't seem to matter either way, it just rev's out at aroun 6500rpm ...
If using the Tiptronic it revs out and doesn't go anywhere & i have to back off the pedal, and if its in auto it will try dropping back a gear to pick up power & then rev out ...i've tried resetting the ECU etc in case the car picked up slow driving habits from the last guy that owned it ... but it hasn't fixed it
I am starting to think that an Air/Fuel Controller may help the situation & will have to go get it Dyno tuned for best performance
I did notice a post on the forums which indicated that the Lambda sensor could be the cause of the problem & to disconnect the battery to reset everything, but I've had no luck with it..
If you find out how to solve the problem I'd like to know
Good luck
