Hey,

Have a look again.
Maybe you haven't seen the right one.

If you still can't tell the difference.....well....what can I say!

Cheers,

Put me down for a pair.

If your serious about doing this, you may want to do a world wide add to the UK and new zealand FTO clubs, maybe even the hong kong guys.

Hang on a minute

Post by jc133480 »

I just checked with Taka Kaira's site

http://www.takakaira.com/asp/template.a ... IidfEgcjFe

They are selling these, not sure of stock levels but they usually dont list it unless they can get it.

They are also now selling the KAZE body kits.

I bought a strut arm from here before and it was ok.

If you look carefully these are not the same as the project west kit, they seem to be the stock lights with clear plastic, and coloured bulbs. where as the project west was a completely new moulding with new separated bulb fittings I think?.

Thoughts?

Still expensive at 680 USD ~ 900 AUD delivered.

i just checked their site and this price does not include shipping i would estimate you could add probably 50-100 to this for shipping.

hey guys just a quick update.
seems after not being able to find a supplier who will make the limited qty we want (i.e. not 500 sets) we've been able to track down a couple of suppliers. I'm getting each to make a set and ship them over so we can look at them and test them (make sure no water leaks like the Japense ones)

They will be on display in Sydney for a while so everyone will get a chance to see them (i may take the car interstate for others).

seeing as we are coming up to christmas and all that i'm expecting to do a group buy in Feb 04. so that we all have time to pay off our bills and the like.

I'm hoping to get the samples before chirstmas as well.

yeah and what a painfull 8 weeks it has been....

i'm still discussing things with the manufacturer i'll bring everyone upto speed as soon as all the details are finalised, bascially we are discussing the min order that we can make, as well as who is paying for shipping and the cost of the units...

at the end of the day i'm working to make sure everyone has the best deal possible and its taking longer than i wanted it to. It will happen and at the best possible price, i don't want anyone to pay more than they have to.

Any further news yet Stephen? The longer it drags out the more I begin to prepare for the abortion of their manufacture...Have you actually got a single set that has been made up at all or even a prototype yet? At this stage put me down for any set that ever gets made even if the project is cancelled as I need a set badly :D Hell - I don't even care if they leak! You mentioned earlier that a group buy would happen in Feb - ie: now? Anyway, I don't want to sound rude with all this as I don't know the ful story but my hopes are fading rapidly from the initial high when this project was first put up.

Thanks, Brad.
