i think you mean when you turn one wheel look to see what the other wheel does. if both turn in the same direction then it has a LSD

thanks ruchi...
so if my question is:
"im looking to fit an aftermarket lsd. can i expect my car to shudder in slow turns?"

the answer is:
"maybe"
:?

the examples that you gave are, as you pointeed out, variables...except for the ratio of the lsd...so i can problably expeect it to shudder sometimes?...and sometimes worse than other times??

It's like asking will my wheels spin when I launch? The answer is it depends upon all the variables such as revs, speed, tyres, road.

The vibration/shudder shouldn't be anything major, it should just be a minor vibration through the steering wheel, a bit like when you corner fast and the tyres going from slipping to gripping back and forth a few times.

fair enough...thanks ruchi...

i just get a bit wary when i hear some people say that their whole car shudders on slows turns ans some people say that they cant feel a thing...

i guess ill just have to try and find out myself :)

I have the cusco lsd and it does shudder, only when you are going very slowly in turns.

The benifit is that both wheels spin at the same time but you need really good tyres, otherwise it will cause unbelievable wheel spin. Good for some bad for others.........me.

That wheel spin and since i had bad tyres cause my clutch to go.

how did it cause your clutch to go? cos you had to ride the clutch to get decent traction?

have you tried replacing the diff oil with genuine cusco diff oil? ive read that that can help with the shuddering

It aint that bad, dont need to really change the oil.

The reason my clutch is gone is because of 4 things;

LSD + crappy tyres+ wet road= wheel spin= clutch lol
