Nup, to my knowledge there are 3 different specs. The standard engine pulls 150KW, the VRX pulls 170KW and the Ralliart pulls 180KW. Could be wrong, but the VRX definitely has considerably more than the standard magna as I have driven both (my parents have a standard one). And I have definitely had those figures quoted at me by someone.

the VRX must fly, cause both of my mates with magna only have the manual base model, they took me for a spin and they hammer off the line, but I got to say that magnas perform pretty good for a family car.

one of my best mates is a mechanic and he was in a customers vrx magna and was takin it out for a spin after he fixed it and an xr6 pulled up next to him at the lights they both gunned it and he reckons he left it for dead. also a mate at work has got one and he loves it.

one of the guys at work has got a VS commodore SS, he said one day on the way to work he raced a AWD Magna, the magna just drilled him off the line and left him there.

I think the Magan is quite light....the AWD one would go well from the lights...

I had a stock one for ages in Syndey (after the tarago) and raced everyone and everything and beat most people I raced....

be carefull....since it had a BOV then its likely to be one that can go hard....the 4wd turbos do 6.6 std...with some boost etc 6.0 is easy...

Hehehe, I had a bluebird for my first car (the U13 model) and it was a great little car. It had a 2.4L engine in it.

The SSS AWD Bluebirds come with a SR20 and ATTESSA....yes attessa, the same 4wd system used in the GT-Rs. One thing I've learnt is that Japanese family cars sure do have some giddy up.

Took my FTO for a drive after getting it serviced this arvo and by golly it put a grin on my face.....unlike the Skyline most of the time where it's just "oh God not too much throttle, don't go sideways, don't go sideways!!"
