Hi bob.

The "plain iridiums" or the more common versions are rated upto 6 max. The FTO needs a rating of 7 which is only avaliable in the newer IRIWAY range(7-9). We are still doing some investigating but it seems thats the best one avaliable.

You can go the Platinum (PFR7M) however you will be the only one so far so you wont get much of a discount.

Am more than happy to investigate bulk order.

//edit: Oops just realised you guys are talking about Iriways..
yeah kid.. the IXs are suitable for the R33 as they are rated at 6. We need a rating of 7 which is not avaliable in that range. The XIs are much cheaper as they are more popular I believe by $80 is cheap as...I payed 99 which was damn cheep. Did that include delivery? cos I have looked at the RRP prices in japan and base don std reatil mark-ups $80 seems very low..basically not much margin. anyway nice1!

yeh, i'm in for the iridium for now, i'll do a pick up
NGK rate this product at 15-20,000km. However the FTO wont really stress these plugs like a high mod skyline or supra would however the FTO does run at high compression hence the need for plugs rated in the 7 range as standard.

I can't guess a qty, but based on normal driving conditions/distance those plugs will last you well over a year.

Yo Umm..

I"II leave this going until Tuesday and get it going. The costs shown with include postage to QLD...However because many of the sets will be sent to melb I am neg. a better price overall. Most likely it will be lower.

So next week you will need the money.

--------
for every1s info I recieved a set of the IRIDIUM set and put them in this weekend to try them out - thanks to Kudos. Depending on the numbers I will still pay the same as everyone else.

I have to say they work fine...I took it to 8k just before and run very nice. Def. no problems with these plugs and I reckon on low revs under load I have some more grunt...

Its always hard to tell if they are better, but there is no doubt these run good in the MIVEC!

there are 2 schools of thought on plugs.. I'm with the one that thinks u should get these plugs...have a look at test results above...the NKG one offered are in my opinion better than those tested.

Ok I'm becoming interested in getting these, but the problem is, if I put my name down I won't be able to pay you till like thursday cos that's when I get paid.. is that fine?
(Btw, I don't know how this normally works since its my first GB)

Thursday will be fine mate. But wednesday/thursday I will lock down the price and it will hopefully be a cheeper than what has been quoted - the the prices quote are the worst casse which is still pretty good. I don't want u to spend all your cash on these plugs though...they are not cheep. It might be better for u to wait..up to u.
