So did your jap friend tell you that the item is base on exchange of your old one? The freight alone will cost your around $600 Aus (return). The bid on this item usually end up around $400 aus.
So unless you got a spare set of lights then i wouldn't bother. Keep in mind the selling mention "will not ship internationally"

i havn't asked him yet. I meant i can ask him to read it but yea that would work out to be a lot..
so that means the only way to get anything similar to that is custom made?

If you really want, the guy I mentioned above can get it for you. You need connections in Japan that can buy and send to you. He has that. Yes, he takes a cut, but I guess it depends on how much you want it......

Oh, forgot all about that, that's great!
Any ideas on what he would approx. charge? $500? 600? 2,000? =P
just a rough estimate!

Usually "agents" charge around 20% of the winning bid, but then you going through someone else agent, so expect another 5-10% on top. Thats not including the cost i told you already.

ok I'll give them a call tomorrow and ask for the owner lol or somebody that knows about importing FTO parts from japan. Hope the right person picks up to give me a decent response to my question.
