Last time I was there I was on the look out for it but a friend told me he saw an FTO take off like nothing else so maybe it is true?

It cant be all that difficult with the right equipment and time.
A company in England, Fensport, did it to a Corolla, by adding in an engine and transmission from a GT4. It did 200 MPH!
They have just did the same with a Gen7 Celica to compete in the time attack series. See
