Correct. When you also factor in that it's most likely been tuned for higher octane fuel it's a pretty risky idea to keep one in.Bennoz wrote:What if you go & modify the motor? Your tune will be out & no-one in Aus can re-do it??
Regarding the chip idea Spetz, MINES have traditionally used all sorts of tricks to prevent exactly that happening - like encasing the chip in resin so it can't be written to. Their way of ensuring that no-one else could alter their tune.
