Why not have 4 or 5 vents running directly up the triangle middle bit of the hood, getting wider as they go further up the triangle?

A small bonnet scoop will be located in the middle of the bonnet, where the triangle is.
However, first I need to decide the vents facing back to the window.

Well in that case I'd take the first set......the FTO is a curvy car and having square vents on the bonnet would ruin that.

If you face them forward you might pic up some water if it rains... cold air in will be much better thou...

Yep, Thats why I am facing the vents backwards, towards the window, and thinking about not having the scoop. Do you think I would still get water in?
