Yeah, I was thinking something like that.

Bit like the running boards you get on some 4WD and the old 30's cars (you know the ones from the mobster movies). Almost wide enough to stand on.

Try rotating the hole in the middle so it tapers wider at the bottom and not at the top?

Looks kinda like a D'Cuatro but modified as it doesn't seem to wrap round the side as much...
