Re: CAI
Just wondering if anyone went through with this ? If so does it work well ?dstocks wrote:When I had the front bumper off today, I was having a little bit of a think re getting some more cool air into the system. What I want to know is if the following is likely to work:
If I attach an additional pipe through the location marked in the picture above and have it fed directly from the airflow through the front grill, will it provide a benefit. Im not thinking of shutting much of the front grill off just enough for a 7cm odd pipe (so hopefully shouldnt effect the radiator too much). If I attach it to the existing air cleaner pipe, it can suck additional air from the standard location as well.
Would this work, or is it just a waste of time. I have an ARC box in place of the standard air cleaner.
Gains etc ??
