They are out at Campbelltown...

Maybe they'll do your seats too!!

They specialise in restoration work, so very nice finishes.

Have a trawl through the group buy thread - its come up a number of times. What you are looking for is a link to a zip file that contains a photo by photo guide. The file was done by Boris, but I beleive Kev (FTO338) put the link up last

Yeah Boris, Kaz & I had post up numerous guide & tips already. Don’t remember where, could be in one of the 14pages or one of the seat cover thread. Do a search & I’m sure you will find it.

If you need any help Ben maybe I can update the projects area of the website as well when I can find the time. It will take a bit of time though to sift through all the Technical/Performance and Styling threads.

Well i finally got mine done and on, still a bit of tidying up to do but other than that they are looking good... BTW if your doing this yourself, save yourself some time and learn by my mistakes...

1) dont trim the thing till youve got it all glued bar the edges
2) trim the edge BEFORE you glue
3) dont waste time with apoxys, i found out the hard way that above 60 degrees the glue melts and it all comes unstuck... which isnt helpful in a stinking hot FTO. Just buy about 20 tubes of superglue :D but check how much is in the tube first, i bought 5 packs that only had 1.5ml in them and it was way easier to buy 4 with 5ml in them

heres some pics (like i sed, still some tiding up to do)
Note i covered the armrest/console too

I'm gettting mine done atm.

They gave a review of the material.

They said it was abosultely crap. lol. They asked me why i'm using fabric material?

They also said it's not UV treated, so it would deteriorate with in couple of months if its in contact with the sun.

We'll see how it goes

Before going into this leatherette seat covers, I did my research very well.

First of all, there is no UV protection difference between leather and leatherette, and the protection is way better then normal stock fabric, hence that's why every bodies back seat foam has been burned to charcoal with stock trimming.

Secondly, I only work with leatherette material called NYLEX. NYLEX is built by Germans in Germany, and the highest quality leatherette achieved until now.

Some says it will survive more then leather.

On the other hand, I have given absolute worst to my leatherette covers, name it from carrying dogs, bricks, leaked pen, water, coke, sex, etc....

And everything is easily cleanable by a damp cloth only.

I am so happy with the leatherette for both quality and price, I can not recommend enough to everyone.

Don't get me wrong, im happy with the seats aswell.

That's a natural reaction if u dont buy the materials from them. They diss it.

I even felt the leather material he was talking about (that was UV treated and was very good) and it's very similiar.
