well i wouldnt know bout dat!

for some strange reason, the dealers i went to, had their fto's in their ad's, and had a price of, lets say, $19,000.
when i went there, i looked closely at the price tags, they $19000 was actually $21000......

well i mite be wrong...... but thats how i took it!
haha

Generally with cars the GST component is included in the price however they leave out the stamp duty and on road costs to make the price look better.

Generally on orads costs can very between dealers - depending if they want to try and make a bit more money outta you.

you can safely assume though that the car will cost you between $1000 - $1500 more than the advertised price unless it says 'drive away, no more to pay'

But even then they will try to sting you with something

great thing about used cars if you have a 'cooling off period' so even if you sign up you can change you mind within a couple of days.......
