People in placid white cars freak out when they see a nice bright red one cruising along and feel the need to hit them?
Hay I like that one - still doesnt explain the gate post though which is dark green!!! :? :?
But lets get back to talking about how crap women drivers are (always backing into posts) hehehe
I dont think any man would be game enough to start that string!!!!  And I take exception with the "always" comment - it only happened once!!!!!! hehehehe!!!!

The cricketers and others also use orange glasses which basically brightens the image. Almost vision enhancing type. I use them when I fly and reckon it helps
The orange / yellow coloured lenses block out the blue light rays. This gives has the side effecct of turning things almost black and white. Cricketers have found that it helps them to see objects further away..

I had a pair of purple sunnies that did a similar thing - couldn't drive with them on at all since you can't tell what colour the traffic lights are.
Although colour blind people when asked the question about traffic lights always reply "that's easy, its the one that's lit up".

A side note: the human eye can distinguish between 26,000 different shades of green, which is why night-sights are in green.

Colour blind people have trouble distinguishing between red and green.
If I called all colour blind people slow....would that prove that red is faster? lol

Hmmm... I thought night sights were green because they used infared light and you need a green lense to be able to pick it up???

As for the glasses, I can wear mine at night with no worries, but sometimes all the lights shining in your eyes so brightly makes em sore so I just wear my normal glasses.
I cant prove that it makes the image brighter but it definately makes it sharper, you can see the edges of the object better.

Now about that gate post, green is a tranquil colour, maybe watching it in the rearview made tou so relaxed you dozed off and smashed into it??
