I just realised what everyone was asking =)

The ABS light is not an indication light that ABS is active. It's only activates during accessories while the engine is off, and when there is a fault with the ABS system.

cool, well going by the diagram of the dash lights that someone posted in another thread, my fuses, and my braking tests I have to officially say:

I have ABS!
