In the end you actually beat both...the car belongs to the driver u raced hence you beat the car....i think its quite pointless arguing that you "beat the driver not the car" cos in the end i was racing that driver not Michael Schumaher and to quote myself "like the ford GT-P driver i took the other morning"....

I think it pointless being embarassed that other cars can beat the FTO. Seriously it really isn't that important

The FTO is now 10 years old, its engine capacity is 2L, it's normally aspirated (non-turbo) and it achieves its maximum power near the end of the rev-range. Newer cars, cars with bigger engines, turbo cars and cars which reach their power-band sooner should be able to beat the FTO.

If you've got "size issues" over the fact that other cars are faster, either get over it or get a different car. Those other cars might be faster, but which car turns more heads?

*laughs* so if I dragged a F50 off the lights and beat them because they didn't race (Ie. the driver half arsed it) am I beating the car, or the driver? =PPP

Extreme borderline cases always test rules the best =) Yes, I know that's a stupid arguement, but it is valid nevertheless =)

i agree everything is valid...
but the driver has to try otherwise there was no contest to begin with...
And Ruchi i agree....FTO is not about performance or size...its the whole package that is so appealing...
