Lol!! Umm... so I guess ya'll don't like em eh?
THat was my other huge concern, was the weight.. I heard they are real heavy..
Though, most rims are, and most people have got 18's on there fto's, which relly doesn't make sence, if your in for performance, espically handling.....
I love Spinners on big black suv's, they look so sweet, and I can understand, how they can be percieved as ugly and stupid on a jap import..
but the FTO has them big wheel arches, and I though, if you filled em up, with nice 18's, that it mite be able to pull it off...
I guess not.. I am still curious, to see, what it would look like. Someone photoshop a picture for me

and also photoshop a video

Hell... send some down, so I can put em on, and look
Quick question, what were TempeTyre asking for there spinners, though i am now leaning away from getting them....Still curious.

Also, I think a lot of people, have seen too many cheap spinners, and have gotten the wrong impression, real spinners, do look pretty good, but I have not seen many at all.

I'd suggest most would have either 16" or 17".

Yeah, real spin rims from the states do look quite good. Actually they look PIMP!
Most of the ones u see going around here r cheapies. A set from the states can cost around 4k.

Just going off track here for a second...
I'm thinking of changing my rims on my car to 18" but now after reading a few comments on this post, Im scared it will reduce the performance and handling of my car... can anyone who has changed there rims from standard FTO wheels to new rims comment on the change???

I don't have 18's, but as long as you don't get anything too heavy I wouldn't be too concerned. Given the excellent nature of the FTO's suspension the 18"s are more likely to simply change the characteristics slightly as opposed to making the handling really bad.
What I mean by this is if you hit a bump the impact will seem heavier and likewise you might drift a little more on highspeed sharp corners. Overall however the car should still handle very well.
Perhaps someone who has done an upgrade can ellaborate a bit more on how it feels once you've changed over.
