Anyway, nice FTO you have there. It looks as good as new. When i saw it the rear bumper was cracked right across the middle, he probably replaced it.

Here's a clearer pic of the rear apron, noticed that the FTO logo is sprayed over yellow. Wildfaye, those were there when i got the car.

Dandelion Yellow was it's original colour. Most panel was resprayed to another shade of yellow but yeah, still yellow.

Don't take this the wrong way, but are you sure about that?

If that's the case then you've got one of the special edition models, and while I like the look of your car, it probably would be more valuable if it had been kept in its original condition including special edition badging etc. as these were released in limited numbers.

I know some people have simply resprayed their cars because the yellow looks great, without being a special edition model.

Hi Ruchi, to satisfy my own curiousity, i just open the bonnet to check the colour code and it was y77 on the plate which corresponds to dandelion yellow. So are all yellow fto special editions or just some? I'm getting more curious about it now hahaha.

Yep!

All "limited edition" FTO's came in yellow.

None of the other models came in yellow.

Limited edition, you have!

YOU PIECE OF sh*t AKUMI!!! YOU DIDN"T EVEN KNOW AS WELL!!!!

ARGH!!! I'm SOOOOO JEALOUS!#?!!!!

You basically got a GPX, ie, folding mirrors and climate control sh*t, rite? with the better suspension, and oh my.. LSD oh and ABS!!!!! It's like imo the ULTIMATE FTO!!!!

You car should also have a car of the year badge/sticker on the side.
Did you import her yourself?? Or buy it here in Aus?

I'm SOOO JEALOUS!!! I'm just gonna re-spray my car yellow, like yours, and swap cars with you, you won't even notice!! :p

I remember when I was looking to buying an FTO, I saw this yellow one for sale, which I thought was a SE version, and I was going to rob him hard!!!! but it turned out, it was actually a GR which he re-sprayed, and he was tryign to rob me :p

Once again, so jealous!!!
