The thing I hate about double din head units is the touch screen is resistive compared to a tablet which is capacitive.

Don't get an Eonon, they sound sh*t and have no way of setting up the audio sound you want, ie only has bass and loudness. They are also made crappy and the screen is crap.

Go the JVC, I have just installed the same one as you posted. Sounds great, heaps of features and settings.
I have been buying JVC head units for the last 20 years and they have never let me down.

Kenwood and JVC are made by the same company, but I still stand by JVC.

For the same price as the JVC i could get the eonon which has GPS and maps...
also im not and audiophile so all those sliders and equalizer and bass and treble and blah blah is lost on me. I just like music to come through my speakers.
maybe i should just flip a coin

The GPS on Eonon is also crap.
I had a look at Eonon at a shop which had them setup and they are crap, really crap.
They look crap, they are made crap, they sound crap.
Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap crap!

Don't waste your money.

Buy JVC and buy a $99 GPS later.

Or just use your phone as a GPS. My Samsung's navigation system is on par with if not better than most GPS systems.

Google maps on a tablet, plus the choice of downloading additional GPS apps.

Android eonon supports Google maps :)
They had enough settings for the sound though. Having said that, am now enjoying my single din Pioneer. :)

I think you've made up my mind, now to find a galaxy tab and a single din.

I found the Galaxy Tab 2 7" the best. Tab 3 will fit but it has a physical button on the front which I don't like.
