Nothing wrong with GTO.......almost bought one. But since I do pretty much all my own car work if I wanted to go through all the trouble of restoring a car, sourcing parts, rebuilding engine, respraying, body fabrication, blah blah blah.....it might as well be an NSX coz I find that they are kinda unique with the MR layout and aluminium chassis. But this is all hypothetical anyway coz I just don't have the time, money and patience to do that kinda sh*t anymore.

I once saw an old NSX posted up on carsales for $20K.....so tempted back then.

Then again I heard an NSX replacement windscreen was $7K so there's worse scenarios.
There goes my plans to buy a NSX :/
I was so tempted to buy an old one and rebuild/restore it but when I googled around for bits and pieces (eg. engine) it was just insanely expensive. Would be an awesome project and the alternative is that instead of buying OEM replacement parts perhaps fabrication is another option. But once again depends on the $$$

A Gto was not designed by Senna. /end of discussion :P

Man the windscreen for the Fto isn't as uncommon as you think. All windscreen places have listing for it and have new ones in stock.

It's only $150 trade for a new Fto windscreen cost me $200 all up for guy to drive to mine install etc. I didn't have to wait for the screen nothing. He threw in a new seal around the screen too. Camskill have these for $100? The seal in geric stuff as he had rolls in the boot.

Obviously I know the bloke but can see it costing more than double retail.

Pm me if you want me to find out.

Yeah, ive had a couple replaced like that before as well. Was thinking based on what has been said that they had stopped producing them though.

Got it fitted yesterday, it's taken almost 3 weeks and been a pain being down to one car but at least it's done now.
Cost me $485 supplied and fitted up in Hedland.
PGI said they have 16 in production in Brisbane.

Nah my guy said they make more there when they get low. I know for a fact they are $150.00 trade and not hard to get, as my guy had one for me straight away. Give you an example a commodore screen is about $100 trade.
