Only issues would be rooted shocks, or as said prior, offset.

you'd get the tinniest bit of rub in the inner guard liners if your offset is correct, no more.
You'd also get a bit of rub on the upper part of the guard liner when hard cornering if the car has been lowered.
True, but would have to be some hektik lowering.

Our fronts are 215/45-17 with a 30mm drop and get zero rub all round, even on the inner arch liners.
Plus our front shocks are cactus, and even cornering fast on a dip or hole in the road we don't get scrub.

*shrug*

Just as a note the rim specs are 17x7@+38

Well i've got 215/45/17 and they scrub on the top guard liner when hard cornering.

Wheels are 17x8@+32

But that should get fixed soon with coilovers + 235/40 tyres.

Even my stockies rubbed on the left side liner. But I'm thinking that was because the car had 18s before and scrubbed it loose.

Id go with shocks
Although I had to do some serious mods. I scrub a little on full lock with 18/235/35 offset of +35 im pretty sure coilovers are helping a lot though
