Lol it takes a lot longer in a convoy plus as I said i want to enjoy the drive and stop at hotels and enjoy room service like a holiday I don't feel like taking time of work to not enjoy itfraz91 wrote:Brisbane to Sydney only takes 10.5hrs... you queerslanders must be soft or something lol
Exactly, want to make a road trip out of it and not just rush in and out.Shenal wrote:Lol it takes a lot longer in a convoy plus as I said i want to enjoy the drive and stop at hotels and enjoy room service like a holiday I don't feel like taking time of work to not enjoy itfraz91 wrote:Brisbane to Sydney only takes 10.5hrs... you queerslanders must be soft or something lol
Same with me, i think even going a completely different way would be even more interesting and camping out somewhere like a caravan park.shadowarrior wrote:Exactly, want to make a road trip out of it and not just rush in and out.Shenal wrote:Lol it takes a lot longer in a convoy plus as I said i want to enjoy the drive and stop at hotels and enjoy room service like a holiday I don't feel like taking time of work to not enjoy itfraz91 wrote:Brisbane to Sydney only takes 10.5hrs... you queerslanders must be soft or something lol

I dont know about hotels though, that will bump up the price of the trip significantly!Shenal wrote:ExactlysilverGPX wrote: id rather enjoy it than endure it.
From my travels on the road... We use to use Big4 parks to camp in... They use to be really cheap ... And nice and clean ...silverGPX wrote:I dont know about hotels though, that will bump up the price of the trip significantly!Shenal wrote:ExactlysilverGPX wrote: id rather enjoy it than endure it.
Blowup mattress and a tent in a caravan park halfway i reckon.
Anyone know of good places to camp?

VIPFTO may make the trip. He's been meaning to for the last couple of yearsI may consider making the trip next year if one of the other lovely SA members keeps me company?
I'm considering it also. I'm thinking about coordinating a longer trip to my old hometown in QLD as well after the bonfire (or maybe before... hmm) but is only a thought at this stage.dstocks wrote:VIPFTO may make the trip.
