Re: Douglas
Yep. Be alert. I remember reading about a Geelong guy beating up the pizza delivery boy because he didn't wanna pay for his pizza nor did he want to leave any witness to his free meal. The guy ran away and called the cops.
If a customer is drunk/doesn't want to pay up after couple of polite requests...leave the premises and inform your boss. They will deal sort it out with the customer and cops. Trying to get $10 paid for a pizza isn't worth risking your life.
So...back to topic.... are we getting unlimited free supply of pizza at the Bonfire? Tell your shop to sponsor the FTO event and we can put some stickers on our car to promote the business

Re: Douglas
So the shop should have leniency on sketchy places and dropkick people not wanting to pay?
Ha. I would if I could, but Im not even looking forward to asking for two days off for the bonfire

Take it this way... they might sound harsh at face value, but the company has to pay out way more than a $10 free pizza if they have to cover medical/etc costs of an employee injured while working (which includes while delivery). So they know their risks and have risk management process for it. You don't have to put your life at risk if you assess the situation as hostile.

I used to deliver. Was an awesome job. Got laid many times, got stoned many times. Always carry frangers, tally ho's & a club lock ^^^
Worst that happened to me, bloke spat at me for being late - I left the fattest set of 11's across his front lawn & got a pat on the back from the boss

Anything ending with lol after a statement makes said statement invalid...
e.g:
She's a great girlfriend, lol.
The Prime Minister is doing a great job, lol.
I'm not going to give the customer some sausage, lol.

I'll have an FTO one day... i swear!
until then:
1. 2001 Merc-Benz A160 (porta-loo on wheels)
2. 2007 Peugeot 307 TDi (more fun than you'd expect)
3. 2009 Mitsubishi Triton Di-D (a monster in its own right)
4. 1992 Nissan NX Coupe (club car and project car)
5. 1996 Holden SB Barina - "The Nugget"
6. 1996 Jeep XJ Cherokee Sport - The Budget Build
7. 2010 Toyota Landcruiser 76 Series - V8 Goodness... - Build coming soon.
8. 1990 Audi 90 manual - The delightfully dignified daily driver

Friend of mine had the ML...
He advised anyone who would listen to not buy one... He had nothing but trouble and complaints about it.

Heard that a lot about my C Class.
Going on 2 years without an issue.
Like any used car, all about their previous owners.

Lol Daniel it's pretty much impossible to get fired from that job!
I used to rock up 30mins after my shift was meant to start nearly every day... Used to do burnouts and race people in the company vehicle with the boss in the car lol
Used to steal drinks and the pizzas and sh*t haha
This one customer didn't pay so I took his tool box as collateral lol
It'll be fun! Trust me
