Also, if you don't have one already, - put a pod on it, not a whole lot of gain, but once you hear MIVEC with it, you will NEVER go back..

ive got a pod on it. its in the box though. i dont really notice an extreme difference in the sound? its illegal to have the pod not boxed in nsw right??
You need to have it 75% covered I think. Just take the top part of the box out, leave the bottom part as it is and take it for a spin. Then let the mivec kick in.
in QLD there has to be something between the pod and bonnet (i.e. above the pod) which i guess makes more sense than having it enclosed on the bottom...
you sure this isnt the case in NSW as well?

Fark! wasn't it just 75% doesn't matter which side? Effing rules!
That huge 4.5 inch tail end is annoying me...maybe that's the cause of the exhaust note not sounding good? Does it sound too loud and throaty? Make a quick vid of how it sounds like
cool u found it. thats the one. and no its not loud enough, that big tip does nothing but look shithouse. only a abit of a note at high revs, i wanted something deeper and meaner something u can just hear at idle atleast.
shadowarrior wrote:Not sure if it's my sub, but it has a nice deep rumble at low rpm imo. I think it looses all notes at high rpm though.
Here's mine
nice what are the specs? is it a 3" pipe? and how many hotdogs in it? sounds way better and your right, mine has a note at one stage then it just disapears.. i have noticed better acceleration but expected more for the price
Because nothing is faster than a p plater in a commodore.....
except maybe a p plater on a unicorn
