Why didn't you mount an intercooler that has in and out on the same side???
that's a lot of extra piping and weight you've got there...
just curious

place in WA do it for 8k and had soem interesting results in finding the stock injectors etc can load another 50% i think it was.... zoom mag did an article and it can be found on the scottish fto club site
http://www.modifiedfto.co.uk/hot_stuff/downloads.php
I personally wouldn't want to be running injectors that close to the maximum

They didn't, this is a mistake that was reported in an article and GPXXX should know as he has the car

so rims +suspension + a little extra about 7k?
7k!!!!!!
that was tyres, good tyres i ment (1k) and shocks (1k)
2k is all it has cost so far, and thats with all the little things and about $400 worth of tools as well

the only additional expense i can see for an FTO would be the computer, the standard injectors will let you have a bit of fun if you want to go serious though you should upgrade them.
recap, ECU 1.5k fitting and tuning another 1k

remember, my car was already turbo'd so it made the job easier.
all i needed was,
N/A exhaust manifolds, $50 from wrecker
Custom Manifold, $380
Turbo, $500
Intercooler (New), $590
Misc Oil, Water Lines, $180
Turbo Down Pipe, $200
Intercooler Piping, $300
Samco Hosing eeekk, $400
BOV, $200
Intercooler mounts etc, $50
POD filter and adpater, $30
Cold air Box, $55
as you see a bit over 2k, probably closer to 3k, but for instance, i actually didnt have to pay for the custom manifold, thats what i would sell i for there abouts
i also got some good deals. This is when it pays to take your time, you save so much more cash

personally I think it's great!
But I guess it's the result that counts..
And i guess it really depends on whether you can mod this setup to put it in to an FTO..
If all goes well and you can setup the turbo on an FTO with a reasonable boost, and still costs around $3K, I think there will be people lining up for that one for sure!
Thanks

I beleive that the red FTO from the zoom build up is a girls from SA now. I believe she used to be EXC but then may have been FLYGIRL or misspsi, not much.

Hey no worries guys, I'm pretty sure they are all the same car, at least that front end looks identical. And I meant I'm not sure not not much.
