Plenty of cars come out with staggered wheels/ tyre sizes.
Doubt there'd be an issue.

Just to name a few, there is a longer list, assed if I'm typing it.
Having said that, those are all from factory, whereas the FTO isn't...
Like any mod, it is a 'mod' legal only by how nice you play with the police man who pulls you over!

However, when you do get pulled over after all that you simply use the Toyota Prius drivers excuse.
"I'm sorry officer, the car just kept accelerating, and I only thought to use the brake and turn off the ignition when you pulled in front of me like that!"
