It may be possible if you swing rich some money for his troubles (topgun) as he lives in the UK you might be able to get it posted to him and then he posts it over here to you - just a thought
(or another club member over in the UK?)

I have family there so could be an option, just thinking it's going to be a couple of kg at least and just seems crazy that I can't get any here although it is quite a large size.

Welcome to Australia.

If you want it, 99% chance we won't have it.

OR

If we do, you pay for it out your ass.

Just emailed these guys too and waiting for them to get back to me but like has been suggested I may have to get posted to family in the UK and get them to forward on.
Will try to find out how much it weighs.

I have bunnings looking into a special order for me too.

Ha ha, I can't believe it, well at least it's sunny.
It's great for car parts though (Repco and supercheap have impressed me compared to Halfords in the UK).

Thing is there's loads of manufacturing around here, loads of marine stuff so they must be using ally.

Bunnings special order is a no no no.

I emailed somewhere else for square tube and they have quoted me a good price - on round hollow bar, doesn't sound like what a want that sounds like a piece of ally pipe so i've emailed them back. Why is this so difficult!

A guy in the UK has some for £11 plus £28 delivery.

Hooray!
Found a supplier in Perth, Robert Cameron Co at Burswood.
76.2mm square hollow tube 3.2mm wall x 500mm long $26.29 - sound like a good price?
In any case i'm going for it as it's cheaper and quicker than getting it from the UK.
