Guni -Gugu the previous owner of my car put mud flaps bigger than yours on my car (it's a rally car in development) and drilled holes in the wheel arches to make more attachements points. Anyway now some of the screws have fallen out because of the flap hitting the ground from the stress. Now that this has happened I am having problems with dust getting into the car on dirt roads due to holes in the wheel arch, the only way I am going to find all of them is to pull all the interior out and fill any holes. That is the problem with screwing holes in the wheel arches, I wouldn't reccommend it.

Eek!! That sounds pretty bad... the front mud flaps, seem more then easy enough to attach.. it's just the back one, I can't work out, where I could even drill any holes for the mudflaps..

I would think, though, you would drill holes, so the screw sits horizontonally... Not screw upwards into the car....

Yeah just want to add that you may try abit harder to fit them mudflaps when you find out how much the stock ones cost!

The screws where in horizonton. But followed as the wheel arch when around. But this is not an FTO, it's a TX3 that has had a bad life already, doing dirt autocrosses and stuff. SO the car has hit the flaps hard at high speeds and at wierd angules (spelling?), So just make sure that the screws are secure and that you don't drive crazy and you should be right. DOn't forget though that the wheel arches are only thin metal and in a screw comes out or you odn't use the original holes dust will get in and may be hard to find if carpet is covering the area. What I'm saying is any new screws in the wheel arches are likely to stick into the cabin, it's not really thick metal there in most cars I've seen. I don't really know what FTO's are like though.

They're still not on yet....

I will get them on, one way or another, just havn't gotten arround to it yet...
