Re: FS or Swap: FTO Turbo ($13,000)
Just applied for (another) loan for the missus new car. If it goes through, i wont be so desperate to sell this anymore. so i'll be putting the $$$ back up to something more reasonable if it goes through.

Re: FS: FTO Turbo ($11,000)
You still up for a swap and some $$ at this price? would be happy to fork over some cash and my gpr for this beast, would be a cheaper option over doing a conversion, i think it would satisfy me

Andrew bought his 6a13 for 10k and has the body done to
Also there is a FTO turbo on Carsales for 5k. Not in as good condition as yours, but just saying... they sell cheap.

Re: FS: FTO Turbo ($11,000)
Yeah I do agree with you, but the thing is that most of the people that drive FTO's are P-Platers. And P-Platers cant drive Turbo or modified cars. Therefore, the market for a Turbo FTO is very very very very minimal. Thats why he's having such a hard time selling it.

Re: FS: FTO Turbo ($11,000)
Agreed... While the market for a Turbo'd FTO is minimal, the value is still there.
Obviously the perfect candidate for this car would be someone wanting to turbo their own...
Would be cheaper to buy a whole car pre-done than attempt a turbo install.
The added bonuses are you get a whole car, the engine is off its tits and all the other little knick knack sh*t (ton of exxy guages, massaging seats, light weight 18s, etc etc etc etc.)
But yes, it is a very niche market. But for the person this is meant for, its a ridiculous steal.

I would love to get this, but it's not the right time in my life right now, got too many other priorities,

Good luck with the sale mate, I'm sure mr or mrs perfect will come around eventually

Re: FS: FTO Turbo ($11,000)
I wouldn't even glance at a FTO which sells for 5k, especially if it's turbo that you're talking about. Good luck spending 4 times that amount of money trying to get the car functioning properly.Kustom wrote:Andrew bought his 6a13 for 10k and has the body done to![]()

There'll always be cars which sell cheap, you get what you pay for.
And yes, for the person that can do a lot of their own work with maintenance and replacing parts without having to get a workshop to do it for them, this definitely is a steal.

Re: FS: FTO Turbo ($11,000)
Geez if you didn't live in brissy I'd seriously consider swapping my fto for it. Although i love my baby i think a turbo fto would be pretty awesome to have. Just not too sure if it'd make a good daily driver?
I'd have to spend a good 4g's on yours to make it look anywhere near as awesome as mine though
. Although I'd have to spend a lot more then that on mine to make it as tough haha.
Ah sh*t decisions decisions lol
